John Wagner is the Chief Product Officer and Chief Financial Officer for AgileThought, and is a member of the company’s management team. He leads the company’s newly launched products organization, which is responsible for the vision, strategy, design and development of innovative software products targeted at businesses and individual consumers.
An original founder of AgileThought, John served as the company's Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2009.
John has spent the past 18 years architecting and implementing software on a wide variety of technology platforms, addressing a broad spectrum of business optimization problems. He is considered an expert in designing and implementing intranet portals that provide Knowledge Management and Business Process Automation functionality. He also has extensive experience with data warehousing and the optimization of large databases. Throughout his career, John has led several major client engagements in the areas of portal, business process analysis/automation, and data warehousing.
Prior to co-founding AgileThought in 2004, John served as the Director of Portal and Middleware Technologies for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he led the design and development of PwC's employee intranet portal. From 1992 to 2002, John held various leadership positions within the Global Technology Organization of Arthur Andersen LLP in Chicago.
John’s deep interest in technology, and software development specifically, keeps him involved in the design of solutions for AgileThought’s clients. He remains hands-on with software development while operating at Senior Management levels. This unique combination of deep, detailed technical skill and IT leadership insight is a valuable asset to AgileThought’s clients.
