AgileThought Named One of Florida's Best Companies to Work for in 2010
July 26, 2010
AgileThought, a leading provider of custom software solutions for Fortune 1000 companies, was ranked #5 by Florida Trend magazine in its list of the Best Companies To Work For in the state of Florida. One hundred companies were recognized in small, medium, and large company categories. The rankings – the second annual statewide Best Companies list – appear in the August issue of Florida Trend and on FloridaTrend.com.
“Companies that retain the best employees with strong workplace programs are frequently the very same companies that serve their clients exceptionally well,” says Florida Trend Publisher Andrew Corty. “It’s a pleasure to recognize these great companies and encourage others to join them in building Florida’s competitive advantage.”
Companies that chose to participate in the Best Companies To Work For in Florida process underwent a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings. Companies were not required to pay a participation fee to go through the online assessment process.
"We pride ourselves on the unique workplace that we have created over the past six years," said Shana Stephens, Human Resources Manager for AgileThought. “With our culture, we are trying to emulate the things that have worked so well for high tech leaders such as Google and Microsoft,” she added. “We have a group of people who work extremely hard every day, so we try to make AgileThought a fun, rewarding place to be. We know that our people could work any place they want to, so we try to make our compensation and benefits packages extremely competitive, and then throw in a foosball table and a Wii to seal the deal.”
