David Romine is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AgileThought, and is a member of the company's management team. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company, with a particular emphasis on sales and business development.
Starting out as a software developer 14 years ago, Dave has developed a deep affection for the craft of software development. Throughout his career, Dave has served in numerous technical leadership positions, from both technical and people management standpoints. His broad exposure to a variety of software projects, teams, and processes has resulted in a passion for software development process improvement. He is considered an expert in application lifecycle management disciplines, including Agile Methodologies.
Prior to co-founding AgileThought in 2004, Dave served as the Technical Architect for Market Leadership Systems for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he led the design and development of key software solutions supporting the sales and business development organization. From 1997 to 2002, Dave held various technical and leadership positions within the Global Technology Organization of Arthur Andersen LLP in Sarasota, FL.
Often heard asking: "are you a software developer, or a software professional?", Dave has an extreme passion for optimizing software development processes and educating our staff on proper techniques and approaches. He firmly believes that there are very good ways, and very bad ways, to deliver software solutions, and that it is our responsibility to our clients to constantly seek out and refine the good ways.
