AgileThought Grows Support for Movember Campaign
TAMPA, FL (November 17, 2011) – AgileThought’s management team has taken the lead and encouraged their employees to support the worldwide fund raising effort of Movember, an organization whose purpose is to raise money for cancer research and to increase awareness of men’s health issues. Men who join them in growing moustaches, or Mo Bros, ask for support in the way of donations that are used for prostate cancer research and other cancers that affect men. The women who participate, also known as Mo Sistas, sponsor individuals or teams by collecting funds for cancer research on their behalf.
The focus of the campaign is in response to the general state of men’s health. According to Movember resources:
- 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
- A man is diagnosed with prostate cancer every 2.2 minutes.
- 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
- 24% of men are less likely to go to the doctor compared to women.
AgileThought is matching participant donations and promoting friendly competition among its Mo Bros by awarding prizes for Bushiest Moustache, Most Creative Look, and Most Disturbing Look. AgileThought’s Mo Sistas can earn prizes for Best Support and Biggest Fund Raiser.
Want to support this worthy cause? You can make a donation to AgileThought’s Scrumstache team.
This fund raiser campaign runs for the entire month of November.
